FAMILY TRADITIONS
For the first time four generations of the Tetlow/Jansen family played together at the Catalina Country Club.
Photographed below -
*Peter Tetlow - great grandfather - longstanding member of Catalina. *Peter Jansen - grandfather - Peter Tetlow's son in law - member of Catalina *Christian Jansen - father - Peter Tetlow's grandson, member Capital Golf Club Canberra *Alexander Jansen - aged 11 - Peter Tetlow's great grandson - first game of golf!!
Peter Tetlow on a handicap of 22 at age 90 still manages to go round the course winning against his family members most of the time. His standard advice is don't try to hit the ball hard, Peter proves his point by hitting straight down the fairway every time whilst other bigger hitters are often in the trees, rough or water.
